The Eyes of God (Proverbs 15:3)
Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.
Job 34:21 “For his eyes are on the ways of a man, and he sees all his steps.”
Proverbs 5:21 For a man's ways are before the eyes of the LORD, and he ponders all his paths.
Jeremiah 16:17 For my eyes are on all their ways. They are not hidden from me, nor is their iniquity concealed from my eyes.
2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him...
The verses above clearly reveal at least two divine attributes: God's OMNIPRESENCE and OMNISCIENCE.
We know that sin is first born in the mind, and when it is committed, it produces death.
James 1:15 Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.
One of the most effective ways to fight sin while it is still in its conception phase is to REMEMBER GOD AND HIS WORD.
Many people hide their sinful actions from the people around them — fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, children, friends.
If something needs to be hidden, it's because it's not good, it's unacceptable, or it might upset someone.
The curious and sad thing is that people care deeply about what others think or feel, but they don't show the same concern for what God thinks or feels.
They fear human disapproval, but they ignore the possibility of divine disapproval.
They hide their sins from one another, but they forget that nothing can be hidden from God, because He sees everything and everyone.
God will never stop anyone from sinning, because not sinning is always a human decision.
Obeying or disobeying, pleasing or displeasing, loving or rejecting, living spiritually or dying spiritually — these are all daily choices.
God doesn't force anyone to desire Him, love Him, serve Him, or surrender their way to Him.
But, just as a mistake can destroy a family, a job, or a life, sin separates us from the glory of God, excludes us from His promises of blessings, and puts us under the promises of curse and death.
SIN ALWAYS GENERATES A CURSE, and that curse always produces consequences, regardless of repentance and salvation.
Therefore, DO NOT SIN, because THE EYES OF GOD ARE EVERYWHERE.
