The Foolishness of Christians (Mark 13:31)

The Bible is God's great revelation to human beings, and its authority is undeniable, because it represents the will of God—and God's will is always fulfilled.

Jeremiah 23:29 Is not my word like fire, declares the LORD, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

Jesus made it clear that His Word will always be fulfilled, word for word, letter for letter.

Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

In the Christian community, however, we see situations that, in my opinion, could only be called “CRAZY, INSANE”. One of these situations is the following:

Many Christians say they believe God created the heavens and the earth, but they don't believe that God inspired men, through the Holy Spirit, to write the Bible.

In other words, these people believe that GOD HAS THE POWER to create the heavens and the earth, but they don't believe that GOD HAS THE POWER to inspire men to write a book—the Bible.

WHICH IS A TOTAL INCONSISTENCY, COMPLETE MADNESS.

The interesting—and sad—thing is that the vast majority of people who don't believe the Bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit HAVE NEVER READ IT COMPLETELY to be able to conclude anything for or against their own theory.

Another sad finding is that, even among those who believe the Bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit, most do not read it constantly and HAVE NEVER READ IT COMPLETELY.

IT IS THE DUTY of every Christian to know the Bible, because it is through this knowledge that God's great revelations are given to His people.

The lack of knowledge of God's Word leads people to be easily fooled by the devil, being carried away by any "wind" of doctrine or teaching.

This lack of knowledge was lamented by God when He said:

Hosea 4:1 Hear the word of the LORD, O children of Israel, for the LORD has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land. There is no faithfulness or steadfast love, and no knowledge of God in the land.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

Therefore:

• It is necessary for you to read the Bible.
• It is necessary for you to know God's will.
• It is necessary for you to know God's values.
• It is necessary for you to know God's authority and the authority He has given us.
• IT IS NECESSARY FOR YOU TO KNOW YOUR GOD.

Using the Word of God is essential for you to win your daily battles, because “we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)

Jesus is coming back soon, and He will judge us based on what is written in the Bible. Therefore, “ONLY A FOOL WOULD FAIL TO KNOW IT.”

Remember: Revelation 22:6 And he said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place.”
